My family and I went here a few days ago. We used to go here when it was Pho Mai. Happy to say the food is just as delicious! My father in law got a vegetarian pho and really enjoyed that the broth was so flavorful! Even the owner (I think) came out after our meal to ask us how everything was. She was really nice and easy to talk to. We'll definitely be coming back!

They changed management & now they are Pho Rex. This used to be our go-to spot when their chicken wontons used to be soooo good! Now they changed the recipe & it isnt the same. Their portions are great & we leave happy and satisfied with our meal. We usually get rare steak pho, spring rolls, and stir fry udon. We miss the chicken wontons though! Parking is never difficult to find, it's in a shared lot with the furniture store next door and the deli on the other side. We will be back soon!

We are new to the area and have been looking for a pho spot. THIS HIT the spot. We ordered the steak pho with added shrimp , and a 4 egg roll plate. The pho was 10/10, egg rolls were 10/10. Hot and fresh. Service was also great. Very attentive all 3 of our servers were very nice and attentive. Will definitely be coming back! Thanks Pho Rex

Definitely recommend this place the food was delicious! Make sure to order the sticky rice! Service is a bit slow.

First time to this place, it was delicious. Ordered the chicken pho and beef spring rolls.. The broth was so good and flavorful. The service was great. The restaurant is nice and clean. Very welcoming. Highly recommended.

I had no idea this used to be pho Mai and there was a change in ownership! This explains the expansion on their menu. They now offer other food selections such as pad Thai and other Thai options. We ordered for delivery today since it was raining. Collectively we ordered: The #1 pho dac biet aka their combination soup with meat, tripe, tendon, etc. The #2 pho tai The #8 pho tai chin Spring rolls w/ shrimp and pork Bun thit nuong The Broth for the pho was good. I felt like it could still use a little bit of flavor though. I normally always taste the broth before I add any condiments to it and I had to add an amount of lemon, hoisin, & sriracha. They do give you a good portion of meat so I appreciate that! Their spring rolls were mostly veggies. I'm not a fan of those shredded cabbage they use. Their bun thit nuong had great flavors. The meat was tender and well seasoned. I got it with the grilled pork. The only thing was that the vermicelli was a bit too Al dente but otherwise it was good.

For Christmas Eve lunch, we went to Pho Rex so that my mom could have a break from holiday cooking. Pho Rex took over the former Pho Mai. There are new menus, new table arrangements, screens, etc. I hadn't been since the new owners took over. My brother and his fiancé ordered pho. My mom asked for the egg noodles with wontons and BBQ pork on the side. My husband had the pho with rare steak and I got the pho with rare steak, brisket, and tendon. We had the nem nuong cuong as an appetizer and I also ordered the che Thai dessert. The food came out fast. We ate well. The broth was light and aromatic. The meat was tender. Mom was happy. What more can you ask for? The che Thai was refreshing once the ice melted down. Service was good. It's a good spot to get your pho fix in Upland.
